Saturday at Folkwoods 2010

Another year of Folkwoods has finished. Fortunately we still have the pictures. Here’s my impression of the Saturday.

After we went to bed with some rain, I was worried my tent wouldn’t keep us dry.  But I worried for not, cause we had a good nights’ sleep (psht Ben, next time the kids sleep in their own tent). Waking up we had the most beautiful sunrise. After that it was breakfast time and another day of music we could enjoy with friends.

It’s a thin line between love and HDR

I’ve got a love-hate relationship with HDR. Or better a hate-hate relationship. And this post didn’t exactly improve my mood. What do you mean beautiful? It’s all HDR! This way you could polish a turd to make it look good!

Lotsa talk about HDR, but what do I have to show? I gots me a nicely done over the top image of a candy vending machine. Without HDR this wouldnt be a success at all, because the lighting was heavily unbalanced. Most of the light was coming from the right, and the bulbs in the room didn’t add much at all.
